I worked on this project at Allata.
The eTourney app creates a safe environment for kids to enter gaming tournaments using GamerSafer technology to verify age. ETourney was having challenges creating an intuitive user flow for their young user base. At Allata, I interviewed key stakeholders, discovered pain points, and conducted a Design Sprint. We created an interactive prototype to conduct live user tests with kids. We used the user test results to further iterate on the prototype and enhance the product. The new user flow had much better results when testing with kids. All of the kids in the user testing were able to register for their tournaments and matches without any guidance from adults.
